# Overview

Learn how to visually build, host, and operate your own Telegram bot with CatFee's Telegram Bot Studio to offer Energy, TRX swaps, Telegram products, and more to your community.

Telegram Bot Studio is CatFee's visual bot building and operations platform for wallet providers, Energy sellers, and community operators. Once you have created a bot through BotFather, you can use Telegram Bot Studio to configure its menus, messages, and service prices. Your users can then check their accounts, purchase services, and review orders directly in Telegram.

CatFee hosts the bot, so you do not need to develop or maintain a bot backend. You manage the bot's branding, menus, pricing, and customer relationships, while CatFee provides the services, processes orders, and supplies business data.

{% hint style="info" %}
Creating a bot is free. To ensure that the bot can accept and process orders, keep at least 100 TRX in your CatFee account as its initial operating balance.
{% endhint %}

## How it works

```mermaid
Users open your Telegram bot and choose a service from its menu. After a user funds their account and places an order, the relevant CatFee service processes it. You can view customers, orders, costs, commissions, and withdrawable earnings in the CatFee dashboard.
## Core features
### Configure the bot visually
The bot configuration page includes a simulator that resembles an actual Telegram chat. You can edit the bot and preview what users will see at the same time.
You can:
* Connect or update the Bot Token and set the default language and support username;
* Enable, disable, or reset the bot;
* Configure commands such as `/start`, `/help`, and `/price`;
* Edit welcome messages, prompts, and button responses;
* Configure inline buttons and the bottom shortcut menu;
* Create reusable custom button components;
* Preview content in Chinese and English;
* Use message templates and variables to show balances, deposit addresses, order details, and transaction links.
We recommend using a desktop browser for visual configuration. Built-in service buttons open business flows provided by CatFee. You mainly configure their labels, displayed content, related buttons, and service prices.
### Offer multiple services
Your bot can serve as a single entry point for several CatFee services:
| Service                | What users can do                                                     | What you can manage                                                                                      |
| Telegram Stars         | Buy Telegram Stars                                                    | Set the price per Star and review orders                                                                 |
| Energy Finance         | Join an Energy Finance service                                        | Set the earnings address and commission rate, and review participating addresses and earnings statements |
Some services require setup elsewhere in CatFee. For example, before offering “Buy Energy by transfer,” you must create and enable an Energy subleasing payment configuration. Before offering “TRX Swap,” you must configure a swap address. The bot configuration page shows whether each service is ready to use.
### Manage customers and orders
Once users start using the bot, the customer data page shows:
* Telegram user details and account status;
* Each user's dedicated deposit address;
* TRX and USDT balances;
* Total deposits, total spending, and recent activity.
Orders are grouped by service, including Energy, TRON Mate, Telegram Premium, and Telegram Stars. You can search by customer, address, order number, transaction hash, status, or date to handle support requests and reconcile transactions.
### Review performance and withdraw earnings
The business dashboard provides an overview of bot performance, including:
* Total users, funded users, active users, and activation rate;
* Total TRX and USDT deposits, spending, costs, and commissions;
* User balances held in the bot and current withdrawable earnings.
You can request a withdrawal of TRX or USDT earnings to a specified TRON address. The withdrawal history shows the status, amount, destination address, and on-chain transaction hash for each request.
## User funds and purchases
The bot provides each user with a dedicated deposit address. Users can fund their balance and purchase services in the bot:
* TRX balances are mainly used for TRX-priced services such as Energy and TRON Mate;
* USDT balances are mainly used for USDT-priced services such as Telegram Premium and Telegram Stars.
Available currencies and payment methods depend on the selected service. When setting prices, review the reference cost and profit guidance shown on the relevant page to avoid pricing a service below cost.
## Quick start
1. Create a bot through BotFather in Telegram and obtain its Bot Token.
2. Make sure your CatFee account has at least 100 TRX as the initial operating balance.
3. In the CatFee dashboard, open the bot configuration page.
4. Enter the Bot Token, default language, and support username to create the bot.
5. Open the visual configuration page and set up the welcome message, menus, buttons, and service entries.
6. Set prices for the services you plan to offer and complete any required payment address or service configuration.
7. Enable the bot and send `/start` in Telegram to test the complete user journey.
## Operating recommendations
* Choose the services you plan to launch before setting their prices, addresses, and bot entries;
* Before launch, test Chinese and English content and every button in both the simulator and an actual Telegram conversation;
* Check your CatFee account balance regularly to prevent insufficient operating funds from interrupting order processing;
* Review orders, unusual statuses, and customer feedback regularly, and keep the relevant order numbers and transaction hashes;
* Confirm the currency, amount, and destination TRON address before requesting a withdrawal.
## Security
The Bot Token is the bot's access credential. Do not share it with unrelated parties or post it in a public group. If it is exposed, generate a new token through BotFather and update the configuration in CatFee.
Resetting a bot may clear its current menus, buttons, and service configuration and cannot be undone. Back up the relevant content before resetting it.
